Ojambo’s Journey: From Struggle to Success

"My name is Ojambo David Wawire, and I am living proof of the life-changing power of The Nebo Project. I joined the program in 2008 when I was just a struggling student in Senior 2. From that moment, everything changed.

The Nebo Project provided me with the school fees, supplies, and unwavering support that I needed to complete my education, something I never thought possible.

Thanks to their help, I graduated from Cartera Trust Secondary School and went on to the National Teachers College in Mubende, where I earned my teaching qualification in physics and mathematics. Today, I’m proud to say I am employed as a teacher, and I’m on the government payroll—an achievement that has brought stability and hope to my family.

I now have the means to support my child, who is finishing nursery school and preparing to start primary school next year. I’m also looking forward to officially getting married soon. None of this would have been possible without The Nebo Project. Their support didn’t just change my life—it gave me a future.

To the trustees and everyone involved, thank you. You’ve not only transformed my life, but you continue to bring hope and opportunities to so many others. Your kindness and generosity create a ripple effect that changes entire communities.

Now, it’s your turn to make an impact. With your support, more children can have the same opportunities I had. Donate today to help change a life and build a brighter future for families in Uganda.
