Through the unwavering support of The Nebo Project, I was able to overcome immense challenges, transforming my life from hardship to stability. Today, as a qualified teacher, I not only provide for my family but also inspire the next generation—proof that with the right support, a brighter future is possible.
My name is Ojambo David Wabwire, and I am living proof of the power of kindness, opportunity, and hope. Growing up in a humble background, my education was a constant battle—filled with uncertainty, hardship, and obstacles.
But in 2008, my life took a turn when I joined The Nebo Project. From Senior 2 to Senior 6, I received unwavering support—school fees, books, uniforms, examination fees, pocket money, and transportation—everything I needed to complete my education. It felt like a dream, something I never imagined possible.
With this help, I graduated from Kateera Trust Secondary School and pursued my dream at a National Teachers College, specialising in Physics and Mathematics. Today, I stand proud as a qualified teacher, employed and on the government payroll—an achievement that has brought security and hope to my family.
I can now provide for my child, who is preparing to start primary school, and I’m looking forward to officially starting my own family. None of this would have been possible without The Nebo Project. Their support didn’t just change my life—it gave me a future.
To the trustees and everyone involved, thank you. Your kindness has not only transformed my life, but it continues to uplift countless others, creating a ripple effect that strengthens entire communities.
Now, it's your turn to make a difference. With your support, more children can access the same life-changing opportunities.
Please donate today to help change a life and build a brighter future for families in Uganda.
